LAvender Ice-Cream

Since I love California so much I named it LA-vender Ice Cream....get it?
I dont usually follow by the book with my recipies I just kind of go with it. I wanted to make healthy & fresh treat and viola! Here it is:

1 Cup of cream
1 Cup of halfandhalf
1 Tbs of honey (heaping)
1 Tsp lemon zest
2 eggs
A Sprinkle/Handful of lavender leaves  and
1 dried lavender flower


In a small pot warm up cream, half/half, honey, and leaves. Low to medium setting for 10 to 15 min.
In seperate bowl whisk to eggs and lemon zest then place mesh strainer on top. Slowley pour cream mixture into bowl then whisk quickly. Crumble dried flower and stir in. Then put back in pot and on heat for 5 min. (low setting). After cooked pour mixture into a bowl and place in fridge to cool. After cooled pour into ice cream machine. Serve and Enjoy.
